A Little Background

Big Rig Records was established in 1999 by friends Stephen Wake (Adelaide) and Nick Conolly (Melbourne). Over the next 7-8 years the label intermittently released albums by Austalian bands Village Green (Sydney), The Beautiful Few (Melbourne), Heligoland (Melbourne) and The Daze (Melbourne).

These albums were released in CD format and distributed in Australia via MGM Distribution.

After ten years of sporadic CD releases we’ve decided to move to a 100% digital format.

And Now

We’ve partnered up with US based digital music supplier who have agreements with over 300 online and mobile providers such as iTunes, Amazon, Audio Lunchbox, emusic, Destra, LastFM, Napster, Puretracks, Strabucks, T-Online and Verizon just to name a few…

We are looking for independent/unsigned bands and artists who want to make their music available in the digital format. If you would like us to consider your music send us an email via our contact page.

The digital distribution process is very simple and once we have everything that we need from you as an artist we can have your music online within weeks.

If you are interested in working together contact us and we can talk further.
